Michał & Renata
Renata has 10 years of dancing experience. She was trained in many dancing styles such as hip hop, jazz, funky and latino. She used to dance in choreographic groups and has taken part in many natonial and intenational
championchips and performances.
Despite the wide interest in different latino dances (salsa, bachata, kizomba), it was the Brazilian Zouk that triggered the greatest excitement. With this little known in Poland dance Renata had first contact at a festival in Santiago de Compostela in Spain in November 2010 and already after the first workshops she felt that this was it. Since then she began intensive training with Michał Wysoczański and developed her skills at international festivals.
Michał took his first steps in the social dances many years ago. After discovering Latin dances he very quickly joined choreographic group Salsa Show in Salsa Libre.
After zouk workshops, conducted by Edelman Paste Pieternelle, he immediately fell in love with the new dance and started intensive trainings. Over the past one and a half years he went to plenty of Zouk festivals that took place in Europe (Amsterdam, Praque, Berlin, Brno).
Renata and Michał are instructors at the dance school Salsa Libre for over a year. They are co-founders of choreographic group Zouk Libre whose performances could be seen already on many festivals. Additionally, those young and talented instructors are responsible for growth of Zouk scene in the capital organizing many workshops and co-organising with Salsa Libre I Zouk Libre Festival in Warsaw (January 2013).
